This week I've been working on the soft finishes for our Marinwood Dream Project. Sourcing the soft finishes is one of my favorite parts of the work that goes into a full-service project. It’s where I can add all the layers, colors, textures, and any personal touches our client is craving. Part of our creative process is developing a mood, through sourcing inspirational images and textiles. There’s something about seeing everything together, in real life to help us to visualize the pattern, and texture possibilities that help bring new life into a space. You should see the inside of my desk, it’s piled high with textiles and inspiration I’ve been collecting over time.
